Obsolessons

Cutting down trees for trash
branching out with fees
just to feed the stash
fulfilling their wishes
out of privilege
and the village they live in
is guarded by the guise
that they're serving religion
where faith isn't given
it's taught
children are the subjects
and subject is God
they call it a republic
but the public has lost touch
we were trees
now we're saw dust
and it's hard to be modest
while they're raping the goddess
I feel displaced like a product
because I know that they've got us
in the bag
and there's a price on my tag

That You're Far Too Smooth

For three years I had seen the world through a her-colored lens
Now I'm jaded by the shade of her perspective on who I am
it doesn't matter when the truth is subjective
women are weapons when you trigger them
forcing me to be bigger than the moment
there are things I can hold
when my temper unfolds
it's origami in her hands
she demands I bend to distraught decisions
but I don't give in
because I'm too stubborn to be stupid
so I'm aborting
and baby, I do love you
but I can't afford to ignore
the horrible truth

We All Float Down Here

Democracy is now the monster
try to keep your head above the water
for every man drowns
as the coins weigh down
his pockets
and he sinks into the darkness
reborn in the form
of mindless robotics
he's here to buy products
and occupy land
they altered economics
to undermine man's
position
and make him fall into submission
subservient to pay the rent
to the landlord
put down your damn sword
and be entertained
now watch the damn score
of the damned game

One Seventeen

To bend the will
of another mans
mind
is a crime we define
as borderline acceptable
to watch for the thrill
as another man dies
is a line we'll cross
with some type of chemical
the way that a priest
or the weatherman
lies
defines what we find
as ethical behavior
when the storm rolls by
and you're still outside
know it's gonna rain on
you and your neighbor

Cake Who're

She is not mine or anyone else's
I try to be selfless in the way I embellish
my words
I try to be honest in the way that I talk
to her
for one true thing
is all I need
to have a little faith in humanity
to turn this anger into something better
than hate
to turn this rage into something
that turns a page
and nothing less
than my absolute best

Room 101

We're over populated
yet keep on creating
words with our breath
we're pro-life and death

You give what you get
you're owned like the rent
spend life in enraged
by the caged innocents
frozen and phased
by the chains on your neck
exposed in the way
you defy to respect

America
where murder's more the merrier
our business is belligerence
and corporate hysteria
privatize this area
purify the character
witness
the land of the sickest
people in existence

That Loaded Word

It's my fate that I fear
not the love that we share
because that will surely lessen
with every drunk confession
you'll know that I'll never hurt you
and in that growing comfort
you'll crave a better hunter
that will give you the pain
you seek to suffer through
and hate the way I'm loving you

Strive

So when I bare my soul
you can laugh all you want
to test my humility and humble nature
and if my own heart is unphased
by the insecurities you'd try to hang on my soul
then I would consider my self ascended
beyond the reach of your words
a god myself
like all men who dare to conquer
themselves over others

Creation

When the drones come home
they feel no sympathy
and still have a job
they fly home from the heavens
to their man made gods
they're greeted with the graciousness
of soldier tested patience
faceless murder was the word
he whispered in elation

Evolve To Suffer

This world's complex
and life is bliss
I went from an adult back to a kid
and now my heart
is not confined
I'm above the chaos of our time
I don't covet wealth
because life is cheap
I won't define myself by my beliefs
some people are sheep
they walk the line
the laws of men are no laws of mine

Hell's Winter

When you trade the birth of rights
for the words of Christ
you get crucified
by the truth of life
it's bitter and sweet
like the words we swallow
armies occupying streets
is no distant tomorrow

It's the present and it represents
the failure of our presidents
who failed to represent
their people and it's evident
that man has no equals
and will follow orders to murder people

Murder isn't evil it's human nature
no need for a savior
study human behavior
It's easy to see the puppetry of politics
making men kill is the goal of governments
the covert kings want to kill us all
grazing on human flesh and alcohol

Cannibals eat the flesh of the living
a banker would eat the hopes of your children
a judge can be bought
and so can the cops
America's home to the broken and bought

The Falcons of Murder

This isn't war this is experimental death we're just animals fighting for what's left we feign intelligence and embellish ir...
