Victims and victors
it doesn't get any sicker
than the way everyday
we choose to dismiss her
she's a tool to be used
like a screw for a picture
to hang on the wall
like a symbolic fixture
of distraction...
it's all so unattractive
with angles as bare
as the load on the brackets
slandering space
like a belt on a fat kid
whose use is a noose
to choke down the racket
of everything
because God is a jelly bean
and I find it unsettling.
